HITArkansas has partnered with Health IT Certification, LLC to offer professional health information technology certifications at a dramatically discounted price.  Courses are offered online, making it easy to accommodate busy schedules.

Qualifications to participate:

1. Signed provider service agreement with HITArkansas - OR
2. Proof of active student/intern/resident status at a medical school or in a health care program at a two or four year institution  -OR-
3. Proof of employment at an Arkansas hospital (acute care, children's, CAH)

National Park Community College at Hot Springs (NPCC) now offers HealthIT, a non-degree educational program on health information technology. It is open to students who have experience in either the medical or information technology fields. The program aims to educate students on how to achieve quality and efficiency in health information technology, while maintaining privacy and security of medical information.
